Professor Wright is the co-founder of OpenLaw which helped launch Flamingo DAO, The LAO, Neptune, and more. Aaron is also a professor at Cardozo Law School and is at the forefront of DAOs, having been involved in Bitcoin since 2011, and Ethereum since 2015. Aaron co-authored Blockchain and the Law: The Rule of Code (Harvard University Press, with Primavera De Filippi) which was published in 2018.

Before this, Aaron was a successful entrepreneur, having sold his first company to Wikia – the for-profit version of Wikipedia, which he grew to be one of the largest websites on the internet. Prior to joining Cardozo’s faculty, he co-founded and sold a company to Wikia, Inc., the for-profit sister project to Wikipedia.
